my life

sometime ago 

when i was  younger duh

i used to think time was on my side

my friend

time 

there’s always plenty of time

in abundance lots

24 hours everyday 365 days

x 50 

and now

and now 

on the cusp of turning 50

here i am at a loss of what to do next

and time is still my friend

prodding me to get with it

the program

off to visit Lourdes with my 82-yr old mum

time , too is her friend

i need to re write re think this
